What height should your grass be and why does it matter?
Short grass is susceptible to weed invasion, drought, and heat damage. If your grass doesn't look good, it very well could be that you're cutting it entirely too short. It all starts with choosing the correct mowing height. Tall Fescues should be 3-4 inches high.
With that said, we follow a general rule of thumb which ensures that we never remove more than one-third of the total grass blade length. This rule applies in a single cutting. You also want to allow grass to grow taller in summer months and during drought.
Again it's also about taking proper care of your lawn and that's our top priority. We will take care of your grass, the right way.
